October Budget Friendly Fashion Round-Up Part 2

I said I would do two Budget Friendly Fashion Round-Ups this month and I am being true to my word! Fitting a second one in has been a bit of a challenge with our schedule jam packed with fall family fun. I hope everyone is enjoying this time of the year as much as I am. The past few days we have actually had cooler temps at night and this is what inspired the theme for this Round Up.

When it comes to Autumn I think of pumpkins, leaves, and plaid flannel shirts. There's nothing more cozy to me for fall than a super soft flannel shirt. But plaid flannels are so much more versatile than my favorite LL Bean standbys. I'm so excited to share the different twists on this classic!

Tara @ Styled to a T

Tara found this buffalo plaid vest on Amazon. I love how she shared two different ways to style it that give it totally different vibes. The first with jeans, a striped top, and sneakers is a more causal look. The second with leggings and boots is much dressier. This is one of those accessories I wouldn't pick out off the rack but once I see it styled I LOVE it! Her Kendra Scott accessories really make the outfit pop.

Katie at Thrifted and Taylor'd

Katie's post on how to wear a plaid blazer includes 6 different ways to style one. I love how she includes both dressy and more causal looks. I really love it with jeans. You can grab a similar blazer from HM that won't break the bank.

Cynthia @ Beyond Mom Jeans

I love Cynthia's Amazon find sweater/buffalo plaid combo top! The plaid is attached which makes it effortless to wear. The length is great for pairing with leggings. I like that you get a "pop" of plaid without it being an all over look.

Becca's Relaxed Plaid Crepe Top is a fun twist on classic buffalo plaid. I sometimes worry that I look more lumberjack than fashionista in plaid so this is a more feminine way to wear it. You can grab her top in several color options at Old Navy.

I had to go back and find my flannel pic since it's been too hot to wear them here! This one is an older style from American Eagle but fortunately they brought back the Boyfriend Plaid Shirts and they are soooo good! I paired mine with leggings- rock climbing gear optional.  I'm also a fan of my LL Bean flannels but they aren't as easy on the budget as the AE version.
